I bought the V-Strom in 2012 after taking few years off from riding. Phoenix was an insane place to be on a motorcycle due to inattentive/distracted drivers, too much traffic, too hot for many months of the year, did I mention distracted drivers who couldn’t stay off of their damn phones while they got from A to B(?).
After getting this bike I would get on the road and get the heck out of the city, but Phoenix is so stupidly spread out (can you say sprawl?) that it would take an hour or so to just get OUT of that damn city that should not exist in a desert.
